The Solution Design Specialist from NorCal Foundation Support came out and immediately confirmed that the foundation of his home was sinking. There were cracks on the outside of his home, and obvious settlement around the house. After discussing the options the Solution Design Specialist outlined that the best solution for him would be the Push Pier system along with some SmartJacks. The Push Piers would ensure that his home stays in place and that further settlement wouldn’t occur in the places that these piers would be installed. The SmartJacks would be installed in the house’s crawlspace to ensure the floors wouldn’t sag and the Piers would be installed along two sides of his home’s foundation to lift the home back out of where it had settled and to then keep it in place.
Scott knew this would be the best solution to save his home and decided to go ahead and have this work performed.
Scott has been extremely pleased with the work that was done, and won’t have to worry about any further settlement in those areas anymore.
